DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA fungal plague has exploded across the sword coast, ravaging beast and humanoid alike. Creatures that fall ill sprout disgusting gooey fungal growths before acting like zombies and eventually dissolving into puddles of ooze. Those capable of language chant “Xanthoria” until the end. One of the Great Readers of Candlekeep has found record of a book by the same name, and has called on Candlekeep’s greatest adventurers to strike at the source of this plague before the realm is destroyed by the plague. This adventure will be about half roleplay as the players track down the source of the plague, and half combat.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCharacter Creation\nPlayers may make a new 16th level character with standard starting equipment and an extra 3000gp worth of items from the players handbook, or players can also level up to 16th level any character they’ve played previously in a Candlekeep game and bring that character. Characters can bring three magic items of their choice at a maximum rarity of two rare and one very rare. Returning players can also instead choose to bring the items and boons their character has collected from previous Candlekeep games.\nEverything from Wizards of the Coast is allowed for character creation. You will have access to our compendium with every module to create your character.\nD&D Beyond will not be allowed, you will have to use Charactermancer. You can either use an empty character sheet provided or import your character. We will be more than happy to provide assistance if needed.\n\n \n\nWe highly recommend you make any necessary preparations before the game commences.
