The Fishing Saga – One Shot D&D

Climb aboard a ship and protect it from the dangers of the high seas to save a town from starvation!

We’re desperate! Every ship that leaves port has gone missing. Can you protect our last fishing ship and return with some much needed food? While you’re at it, if you stop whatever is causing this, we’ll pay you extra!

Character Creation

The Fishing Saga is a One-Shot adventure for 5th level characters and it should take around 3 hours to complete.

Create a character level 5 please. Point buy or Standard array. Max HP for level 1, then you get the average for the remaining levels. Starting class equipment.

Everything from Wizards of the Coast is allowed for character creation. You will have access to our compendium to create your character. Here’s what you will be able to use with charactermancer:

  • PLayer’s Handbook
  • Dungeon Master’s Guide
  • Monster Manual
  • Xanathar’s Guide to Everything
  • Volo’s Guide to Monsters
  • Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes
  • Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide
  • Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything
  • Eberron – Rising from the Last War
  • Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons
  • Curse of Strahd
  • Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft
  • Monsters of the Multiverse

D&D Beyond will not be allowed, you will have to use Charactermancer. You can either use an empty character sheet provided or import your character. We will be more than happy to provide assistance if needed.

Are you ready to enter a world of action, adventure, intrigue, and fun? Join me in telling a one of a kind story where your decisions change the world and plot as we progress. I’m Jcod. I’ve been Dungeon Mastering for a decade. Making a world come alive and feel realistic has always been fun for me, but watching how players and characters react to the world and change it is the best part of tabletop RPGs in my opinion. I plan on running a campaign that is equal parts combat and roleplay. Challenges may have multiple solutions. No need to punch or kill everyone you meet. Actually it is probably better if you don’t, although the choice is up to you.
