Darkness in the Sand – One Shot D&D

You have long known Professor Jalen Humbleheart, halfling noble and experienced archeology professor. While exhibiting little arcane talent, she possesses the keen mind and insatiable curiosity needed for an amateur occultist.

Her most recent letter, a month ago, described an upcoming eclipse heralding the return of a living darkness. Worried by the lack of contact since, the party tracks her expedition deep into the desert, hoping to catch up with her. But the eclipse occured a day earlier than expected, and now they must find Humbleheart before this trip becomes her last.

Embark on a high-fantasy horror one-shot in a forgotten desert archaeological dig site. Your mission: rescue Jane, navigate treacherous dunes, and decipher ancient hieroglyphs to prevent the resurgence of evil. Brace for thrilling encounters and exploration in the perilous sands. Will you thwart the darkness of the past and ensure a safe rescue?

Hi everyone I'm Gromph, pleased to be at your service. I'm 39 yrs old and have been playing and GMing for 10 years now, mostly D&D. I learned D&D during a very difficult and secluded time in my life, it changed me. It helped me to become more open to others and what they may be going through. For that I appreciate TTRPGS and I appreciate you all as well. My GM style is more on the grittier side of gaming for those who like a tougher challenge. Will you dare enter the Vault of Terror? Or brave the Fierce and Stormy Seas? No? Would you rather Delve into the Depths of the Underworld and its many twisting and winding caverns? Where will your wanderlust take you next? Will you keep your wits about you or burst under pressure?? Will you live to tell the tale??? Or will your souls be added to the Ocean of Failed Expeditions?????? Hop in and test yourselves and your teammates in these high octane open world fantasy dives where we all create epic and memorable moments that last a life time!
