Fairytold – Tuesdays

You stand on pastel shores looking at vibrant forests. The Wild. It takes its name from the fabled Feywild, realm of chaos, trickery, bloom and everflowing magic. For reasons yet unknown, said realm has begun to seep into the country of Farsooth. As a member of Farsooth’s forces or a newly-recruited mercenary, you are tasked with the exploration of the Wild. Prepare to traverse through woods of trees petrified in gold, marshes of elementally-disturbed water, blood-soaked scenes left along the cruel feys’ paths and remnants of familiar architecture. This place wasn’t meant for your presence. Remember that.

As players, you are invited to enter this roleplay-heavy campaign. With careful steps, you delve into the unexplored, mysterious and mystical. It is going to be a dangerous place where mistakes have lasting consequences, and obstacles aren’t always cleared by brandishing weapons. Creativity is rewarded, and so is using one’s specialties in key moments. You will be encouraged to exercise caution and to adapt to the horrors that lie beneath the cover of vibrant flowers.

**Character Creation**

Please create a level 4, with a limit of 1 multiclass, character using Point buy or Standard array for skills and Max HP for level 1. You will then get the average for the remaining levels. Starting equipment + 100gp to buy non-magical items.

Everything from Wizards of the Coast is allowed for character creation. You will have access to our compendium with every module to create your character.

D&D Beyond will not be allowed, you will have to use Charactermancer. You can either use an empty character sheet provided or import your character. We will be more than happy to provide assistance if needed.

We highly recommend you make any necessary preparations before the game commences. These may include things such as reviewing these tutorials prior to the start of the game.

At 14, I experienced a single session of D&D 3.5. I was much too young to DM correctly. Yet, I continued trying. First with my brother’s friend groups and, eventually, with my own ones. I’ve explored systems and worlds and still craft new ones to this day, over 10 years later. D&D 5e came into my life during quite a confusing time, and it served as a powerful medium to channel my creativity. It is where I finally completed my first campaign as a DM. What an explosive conclusion it was! It made every effort worth it. It is with that experience that I’ve come into my style of DMing that focuses on cooperative storytelling. I want to be able to create a canvas to be detailed for and by players. If you wish to build a character focused on ghosts, then let’s develop the spiritual realm of the world! A bounty hunter with underworld connections? Time to make that underworld! You make my worlds much better with your insight. In terms of subjects, I share a lot of themes with the cosmic horror genre, but with a twist that I wish to allow humanity to be able to face the threats that are supposed to be far beyond our reach. Bittersweet but hopeful stories. I would be more than happy to welcome you within those tales.
