Karjuke: Terror of the Mists with DM Lytha – One Shot D&D

Ships going missing out at sea is not unheard of, monsters and bad weather can sink a ship in the blink of an eye. Of all the dangers of the sea all agree to avoid the mists lest you be lost to them forever. No one knows when or where they will appear, only that no ship that has ever sailed into them, have never returned.

You and your fellow passengers must cross the sea to make it to your destination, be it for family, for work or just to travel. All goes smoothly until mists suddenly rise around your ship! Can you escape what lurks within?

Character Creation

Karjuke: Terror of the Mists is a One Shot for 3-6 level 15 characters and should take around 3 hours to complete.

Please create a level 15 character using Point buy or Standard array for skills and Max HP for level 1. You will then get the average for the remaining levels. Characters start with Any Non-Magical Equipment Required + 200gp. 1 Very Rare OR 1 Rare and 1 Uncommon OR 3 Uncommon magic item(s) and a Spellcasting Focus or Component Pouch + Enough materials for 1 cast of each spell.

Everything from Wizards of the Coast is allowed for character creation. You will have access to our compendium to create your character. Here’s what you will be able to work within the charactermancer:

Word from your DM

Hi I’m DM Lytha! I’m an avid gamer who loves to play games in any form, and fell in love with D&D back in 3.5e (we don’t talk about 4e)! During COVID we swapped to Roll20 and I decided to try and give DMing another go since I had a lot more free time. Since then I had been consistently running 2 campaigns, one of which is a full homebrew campaign, silly arena one shots and a yearly fun holiday one shot before joining the Elite Adventures team. Since then I’ve had so much fun I just keep adding more and more games! I’m up to 3 campaigns with one shots every once and a while, just to mix it up a bit.

I focus making making that every game is unique to each group, where even the smallest decision can have an impact on the rest of the game! I use inside jokes, custom maps, NPCs, spell templates and magic items tailored for each group, and player, to make sure that my players are getting the best experience they can, no matter their previous gaming experience! I truly believe that it’s the players that tell the story and it’s my job to bring that story to life!
