The Christmas Song with DM Lytha – One Shot D&D

The Great Yule Tree has stood from time immemorial, giving gifts to all the good children of Faerun every year on the Winter Solstice. The Chestnut fairies flutter about tending the great tree and presenting their gifts to the good creatures that come to celebrate with them.

Ever spiteful, evil has coveted the Great Yule Tree and now Winter Solstice stands in peril! The Chestnuts have been captured and the Great Yule Tree surrounded by impenetrable ice and a horde of wicked fairies. Father Winter needs you, the goodly children of the world, to help him save not only the Chestnuts but the Winter Solstice from ruin!

Character Creation

The Christmas Song with DM Lytha is a One Shot for 3-6 level 10 characters and should take around 3 hours to complete.

Please create a level 10 character using Point buy or Standard array for skills and Max HP for level 10. You will then get the average for the remaining levels. Characters start with Starting Equipment + 200gp, 1 Uncommon magical item. A Spellcasting Focus or Component Pouch + Enough materials for 1 cast of each spell (excluding Tasha’s summon spells).

Everything from Wizards of the Coast is allowed for character creation. You will have access to our compendium to create your character. Here’s what you will be able to work within the charactermancer:

Word from your DM

Hi I’m DM Lytha! I’m an avid gamer who loves to play games in any form, and fell in love with D&D back in 3.5e (we don’t talk about 4e)! During COVID we swapped to Roll20 and I decided to try and give DMing another go since I had a lot more free time. Since then I had been consistently running 2 campaigns, one of which is a full homebrew campaign, silly arena one shots and a yearly fun holiday one shot before joining the Elite Adventures team. Since then I’ve had so much fun I just keep adding more and more games! I’m up to 3 campaigns with one shots every once and a while, just to mix it up a bit.

I focus making making that every game is unique to each group, where even the smallest decision can have an impact on the rest of the game! I use inside jokes, custom maps, NPCs, spell templates and magic items tailored for each group, and player, to make sure that my players are getting the best experience they can, no matter their previous gaming experience! I truly believe that it’s the players that tell the story and it’s my job to bring that story to life!
